Dr. Emily Green

Dr. Emily Green is the Medical Director at White Oak Veterinary Clinic and a dedicated veterinarian with a passion for compassionate, comprehensive animal care. She earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine in 2021 and brings a wealth of experience and empathy to her role.

With professional interests spanning mixed animal practice, dermatology, internal medicine, surgery, and hospice care, Dr. Green is committed to supporting pets and their families through every stage of life. Her journey into veterinary medicine began in 2012, inspired by early volunteer work at community health clinics and animal shelters in her hometown. It was there she discovered her true calling—helping animals heal and thrive.

Dr. Green finds the greatest joy in nurturing the powerful bond between people and their pets. As she puts it, “Being a part of fostering the incredible bond that people and our four-legged companions share, and keeping our fuzzy/scaled/feathered friends healthy for a long life with their families,” is the most rewarding part of her work.
