Meet Dr. Maddelene Herr
DVMDr. Maddelene Herr is excited to be joining White Oak Veterinary Clinic! Originally born and raised in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Molecular Biology from Millersville University. She then went on to veterinary school at Ross University and completed her clinical studies at Tufts University in Massachusetts. After 10 years of many adventures living in New Hampshire, including meeting her husband, they decided Pittsburgh, PA would be their new home.
Dr. Herr spent the first part of her career at a busy 24/7 small animal emergency hospital in New Hampshire, where she gained experience managing challenging medicine cases. She then moved on to general practice and preferred a setting where she could get to know her patients and clients individually and work with their own unique needs.
At home, Dr. Herr enjoys reading, baking, gardening, and getting bossed around by her small, yet mouthy, cat. She and her husband love traveling and are always looking for a new food adventure!
